Summary
This is an individual coursework worth 40% of the total module mark. It requires developing of a Web site which presents personal information about each student. The site must be developed using HTML, CSS and JavaScript and must be deployed to the School Web server. The coursework finishes with an individual report uploaded to WebLearn.

Requirements
1. Website map
Must be drawn using suitable graphics editor and included in the report.
Must be implemented as a separate Web pages with options which navigate to the other pages on the site.
2. Web content
Must present brief information about the student, the course and the modules studied
3. Functionality
Default page of the site (i.e., index.html). It can be combined with some other functionality in the same page
Login form for future extensions of the Web site using server/side technologies. It can be integrated with other functions, or on a separate page
Contacting the student via email (via separate page, form or a hyperlink on the default page)
JavaScript for data verification of input fields and/or form validation
4. Web pages implementation
The pages can be designed using suitable tools but they can be also developed using plain text editor
The pages must be implemented using HTML, CSS and JavaScript only
The pages must use at least one common stylesheet with at least 3 elements on it
5.Web site integration
The site should be designed in such a way that from each page one can navigate back to the default page
From the default page one should be able to navigate to the sitemap
In the case of error pages one should be able to navigate back to the page which causes the error
In the case of buttons each button must lead to the default page of the site
6. Web site testing
The Web site must be tested and the tests must be reported in the written report. Particular attention must be paid at the following
Clicking on hyperlinks
Pressing buttons
Inputting text information
Selecting options or radio buttons and checking boxes
Changing browsers
7. Individual Report writing
Each student must prepare a written report to present the specification, design, implementation of the individual Web site
The individual report must include a reflection on the work from the point of view of the social impact of the individual presence in the hyperspace, the legal issues surrounding the assets used to build the site and the ethical issues related to the use of the information
The individual report must be named using the ID of the student (i.e, I123456789.pdf)
Deliverables
Files of the Web page sources, assembled in a single file archive and uploaded to WebLearn by the deadline (one .zip file only)
Written individual report, submitted by the deadline to WebLearn (one .pdf file only)

Notes on the Assessment
1) The work will be assessed on the basis of the submitted files only
2) If no report is submitted the overall mark for the work will be max 60% which means no first class can be awarded
3) If no Web site files are submitted the max mark is 40% which practically means fail
