This, the assignment for the Extended Project Health module, requires you to compile a 2,500 words Investigative Report that further investigates the role and function of your intended profession; using data obtained from secondary research, and relevant evidence gained from your primary research source.  It will allow you to expand upon some of the information contained in your presentation, introduce new material and give details about how you planned and professionally undertook your research project. You will write about the aims of your research, the methods that you used to undertake it, and its ‘Validity’ and ‘Reliability’; salient detail about where the profession undertakes its practice, registration/regulation of professionals, and other professions with whom your profession collaborates. You will also analyse and evaluate the qualities/skills required to be an excellent practitioner, the ‘value base’ of the profession, the importance of teamwork; and some of the ethical dilemmas often faced by professionals in their day to day work.
Â
Throughout your report, you must use relevant citations in order to provide evidence for what you are writing about. You must also ‘annotate’ each section of your report. Your finished report must be put through Turnitin.
