This individual portfolio captures your entrepreneurial journey from ideas generation through to launch and trade.
We expect a well-researched, carefully considered submission that displays depth and breadth of understanding, is academically underpinned and with insightful reflections.
Individual portfolio containing evidence of every stage of the Young Enterprise entrepreneurial journey, both in-class and out-of-class activities over the duration of the unit. Points-made need to be supported with evidence/research and reflections on learning. The portfolio will divided into (a.) the 4 stages of the entrepreneurial journey (ideas generation, business model canvas, Xinging and Dragons Den), (b.) the 3 in-class presentations, and (c.) three short reflective mini-essays on success, internationalisation, and future professional and career development.

Students curate their in-class presentations with supporting documents in this section - Ideas Generation, Business Model Canvas, Xinging, and Dragons’ Den [slides, notes, feedback templates, photos etc.]. Marks in this part is awarded for completeness rather than quality. Quality feedback is formative and managed within the live classes. The marks awarded for this element is mitigated by a tutor mark informed by peer/self-assessments*, which can lead to an adjustment of marks between +/-5 marks (e.g. If a student received a mark of 65% for this section, this mark may rise to 67% after tutor mark applied). Students will be reminded of this process before each in-class presentation.
*Peer/Self-Assessment covers: Attendance and time keeping, Quality of Contribution, Quantity of Contribution, Initiative and Perseverance, Relationship with Others, Support of Others, Positive Approach, Leadership Qualities and others Comments.
Part C Mini-Essays: (30%)
