9. Arrangements for submission All assessments should be submitted as a word document through “Turnitin” Moodle, in the relevant ‘drop-box’.
Please be sure to up load your work on one continuous word document as Turnitin will only allow one document to be uploaded.
You are advised to keep your own copy of the assessment.
11. The
requirements for the assessment To write a 2000 word reflective essay that identifies your current leadership qualities; articulates areas for development of your leadership skills and presents arguments about the impact of your leadership on your service.
This assessment requires you to conduct a 360 degree feedback process with two colleagues from your service and use this, along with your own reflections, to address the questions above.
Reflective accounts require to be presented in a way that identifies reflections of personal leadership with a critical analysis of leadership theories.
12. Special
instructions The materials for this module include a 360 degree feedback form with instructions for use and a leadership skills prompt sheet.
Within face to face teaching time we will use the 360 degree feedback form to consider your own reflections on leadership before you request your colleagues to undertake this process.
The forms are available within Moodle therefore are accessible to be sent to colleagues electronically via email for example.
An outline of your essay (500 words) can be submitted for review by 25.03.21 via the draft Turnitin drop box on Moodle by 1pm.
13. Nature of Feedback Feedback, where possible, will be given within three weeks of the assessment submission.
Students are encouraged to make contact with their Academic Supervisor should they have difficulty understanding the feedback they have received. Please reflect upon the feedback along with your course-work submission and the assessment criteria you were provided with.
Identify areas you have addressed well (so you can keep doing this!) and areas where you have not done so well.
The latter should form the basis for an action plan in order to improve your skills / performance for similar assessments in the future.
14. Return of work Feedback will be given within three weeks of the assessment submission and will be accessible via Turnitin.
15. Assessment criteria It is necessary that all key components of the assessment are included in your work and that normal academic conventions should be followed for acknowledging sources.
The assessment is consistent with the module descriptor; Leadership and Finance for Effective Service Delivery
