Compare and contrast care services available in relation to the chosen disorders.

Explain the roles and responsibilities of the professionals in relation to the chosen disorders.

Explain the ranges of treatment available for patients with selected disorders

Explain the monitoring processes involved for selected physiological disorders, e.g. check-ups, repeat tests and investigations.

Evaluate the extent to which an individual diagnosed with selected conditions would need to adapt his/her lifestyle

Explain a range of strategies that would help individuals cope with lifestyle changes caused by selected disorders

Explain the likely prognosis and potential long term outcomes for the individual for each of the selected disorder.

Projects are extended pieces of work that take some time to complete. For this assignment you need to produce three projects on three different disorders. You should check your choices with your tutor before you start you research.

All projects involve some degree of planning, information gathering, presentation of researched material and evaluation. You should complete each of your projects using the following headings:

Abstract: This is a summary of the project and should be about 200 words long. Anyone reading the abstract should be able to have a good idea about the project’s contents without reading further.

Prognosis and long term outcome: For each of the selected disorders, explain the likely prognosis and discuss potential long term outcomes for the individual.
