In preparation for writing your Assignment 1: Comparison Essay please consider the following: 
Write an essay that contains an introduction, a main body, a conclusion & a full reference list. 
In the main body of your essay, present an argument to say how the two articles are similar and / or different in terms of, for example:                 1.main themes

2.structure
3.reference list/bibliography (i.e., how the sources are used within the research articles).

Only cite and reference the two articles which are being compared - no other references are required in this essay. ?Ensure the in text citations are have a full reference at the end of the essay

Assignment 2 (Reflection)   (1000 words) 
Write a Reflection Essay on what you have learnt whilst studying the Study Skills module e.g. Harvard referencing, reading strategies, notetaking etc. You may also include things that you have learnt whilst completing your first Study Skills assignment i.e. writing a Comparison essay, e.g. reading an academic article, planning a compare and contrast essay etc


In preparation for writing your Assignment 2: Reflection Essay please consider the following.
Identify what you have learnt from the Study Skills module as a whole and whilst writing Assignment 1:Comparison Essay. In addition to these observations you should consider and write about the implications the skills that you have learnt have for you as a student and also as a future professional. 

Ensure you include 4-5 learning experiences in this essay.
Provide evidence of further reading in this essay and therefore must include between 6 to 10 academic references. 
Ensure that you use in text citations that are then given full references at the end of your work
Write in the first person using I or me.  
The essay should NOT have sub-headings.

Important Points to Remember when Writing your Assignments; 
1.Clarity of argument presented in assignment 1; comparison of journal articles
2.Level of sophistication of observations and self-reflection in assignment 2
3.Inclusion of appropriate academic sources to support / evidence through citations for both assignments. Remember assignment 1 only needs to include the references of the two journal articles which you are comparing. Assignment 2 requires 6 to 10 academic references evidencing the ideas you have included as part of your reflection.

3.In text citations should be made for both quotes, summaries and paraphrasing.  Page numbers should be given for quotes and for paraphrasing where the paraphrase is specific enough that page/s can be identified.

5.Assignment 2 should be written in the 1st person i.e. me/I
