This assignment assesses the student's understanding of factors impacting the labour market and the skills and experience needed for a sustainable graduate career.
1. You will submit one document that includes a Job Description for your preferred graduate job and a CV tailored to the role you have chosen (The CV must be a maximum 1,000 words on two sides of A4 – excluding the Job Description)
2. Your work must indicate the number of words you have used for the CV. The Job Description is not included in the word limit. Written assignments must not exceed the specified maximum number of words. When a written assignment is marked, the excessive use of words beyond the word limit is reflected in the academic judgement of the piece of work which results in a lower mark being awarded for the piece of work (regulation 6.74).
In creating your CV, you should consider the following:
a. Suitability of your chosen role with reference to values, transferrable skills, experience, aspirations and the principles of Global Citizenship.
b. Professional formatting and expression.
