Q1• Infrastructure connects us to each other and the natural environment and is the foundation for the services that we depend on. It is essential that we focus on the outcomes that we need for people and nature when we are choosing where and how to intervene in this complex system. An investment of £27 billion (€32.4 billion) in 2021 and 2022 includes £5 billion to support a UK-wide gigabit broadband rollout, £250 million for digital networks, £5 billion for buses and cycling, and £4 billion for the Levelling Up Fund.
