Q1• Infrastructure connects us to each other and the natural environment and is the foundation for the services that we depend on. It is essential that we focus on the outcomes that we need for people and nature when we are choosing where and how to intervene in this complex system. An investment of £27 billion (€32.4 billion) in 2021 and 2022 includes £5 billion to support a UK-wide gigabit broadband rollout, £250 million for digital networks, £5 billion for buses and cycling, and £4 billion for the Levelling Up Fund. Along with other projects such as the two projects mentioned below.
P1 - The West Midland Metro Extension is one of the biggest projects of the region, with an investment of £450 millions for its current construction stage and a total of £1.3 billion for the extension project, which seeks to provide important transportation connections for the region. The map below shows the three stages of the project, the first stage represented by the blue line is currently in operation, the second stage, represented by the oink lines are currently in construction, while the third stage, represented by the gray line, is currently under development.

P2 - The Forest Green Rover Stadium is a revolutionary project based in Gloucestershire. With planning approval granted in December 2020, this special 5000-seater stadium project is set to be ready in 2023. But what makes this it so unique is the chosen main building material: wood.

Q2.• A developer recently purchased a piece of land in Wolverhampton and intended to build a 50 detached houses project. Each house comprises of: porch, entrance hall, cloak room, lounge, dining room, fitted kitchen, conservatory, four bedrooms (two bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms) and family bathroom. Choose one of the houses and prepare the following:
a. Floor plan with dimensions and furniture’s.
b. Network diagram and Gant chart by using any planning software or Microsoft excel. 
• Identify the activities for one house and produce a Gantt Chart
• Mark the critical path, 
• Calculate the total duration of the project.
