Using appropriate research sources identify an organisation and based on the four pillars of organisational architecture critically assess its entrepreneurial orientation and the ‘fit’ with the commercial environment it faces using the corporate entrepreneurship audit (CEA).
Clearly articulate the results of the audit and based upon your research and findings, identify, evaluate and recommend a number of strategic options/areas for improvement in terms of its entrepreneurial orientation.
Your analysis must be supported with references to relevant course theories and frameworks.
Additionally, students will be required to undertake a formative presentation which will be integral to assignment 1. If attendance is not possible on the day, due to a genuine emergency, then formal supporting evidence will be required and another opportunity provided. If the formative assessment is not completed then Assignment 1 will incur a grade penalty – for instance: A becomes B and B becomes C etc. This a ‘learning by doing’ event to present your initial CEA audit which will feed into the written report and recommendations so if you don’t do, you don’t learn and therefore cannot complete the Assessment 1 final submission with sufficient experiential learning in relation to the specific audit and depth of personal insight.
