For each myth you will find several accompanying resources at the end of the topical discussion. In addition to these readings, locate two or more scholarly journal articles and/or one or more scholarly websites to apply within the paper.
Example: Claim #11: Parents need to have contact with their babies right after birth, so they can bond with them. If you choose this myth you will be researching attachment/parent-infant bonding/maternal-infant interaction and further researching the general questions provided in Claim #11: Does a parent's relationship with a child really depend on immediate contact after the child is born?
Depending on your interests you might look into infants that are in the ICU for prolonged periods of time after birth, or review what hospitals do to support attachment in difficult situations.
Additional Instructions Note: Be sure to locate, read and apply the resources listed in the reference list for your myth through the ESC Library and apply additional scholarly resources (at least two) (e.g., current journal articles; scholarly websites).
