IRAE135 UAE and International Relations

Based on a professional simulation, students will prepare a digital story under the form of a leaflet including texts and visuals of the student’s choice. Students will be able to choose one simulation among two suggested by the lecturer. Submissions should be uploaded on Moodle at the relevant link in PDF format by 11 March, 10:30 AM. A list of references used should also be attached to the work, including the credits/sources of visuals (photos, graphs, etc.) if any.

If you are using visuals you created, add in-text citation only: (Author’s work, 2022) The list of references is not part of the wordcount. (Do not forget in-text citations) Cheating and plagiarism will be reported to the Academic Integrity Committee and severely sanctioned. Students must work individually on their digital story.

Students will be marked according to their capacity to meet the goals of the professional simulation requirements, the capacity to mobilize the relevant content from our sessions and external research, and the design and overall creativity of the story. 

Instructions:

Prepare a digital story of four pages combining visuals (pictures, graphs, tables, photos etc…) and texts fulfilling the requirements of case 1 or case 2. Please make sure you only choose one case. Include the cover page available on Moodle with your submission so you can indicate your name, student ID, wordcount and references used.

All rules regarding referencing, wordcount penalties, deadline penalty, cheating and plagiarism as defined in the subject outline apply accordingly. You also need to indicate the sources of the pictures used. ou should upload your digital story in PDF format at the applicable link on Moodle in the section.

Assessments” where it will undergo a Turnitin check before Friday 11 March 10:30 AM.
