Create a dynamic fashion editorial style layout using a minimum of four separate images.

Image requirements include: at least two figures, a background and one additional visual element. Feel free to use more images to create a more dynamic layout.

You must use blending modes to create significant colour editing at least once in the composition.

Weekly Breakdown:

Week 4: Brainstorm concept and theme, identify what kind of photographs you will need

Week 5: Start searching for photographs, ensure they are high resolution, cite all

Week 6: Begin removing background, and arranging page

Week 7: In class work time, refine layout, project to be completed by the end of class

1. Create new document intended for print (consider units, resolution, colour mode, bit size, etc).

2. Print size should be 8x10 inches portrait.

3. Place images onto page (Don’t forget to rasterize placed layers).

4. Remove unwanted elements using selection and eraser tools.

5. Move images into desired areas of composition.

6. Colour edit as you go.

7. Continue steps with new images until desired composition is created.

8. Do NOT merge layers.

9. DO delete unused layers to remove clutter.

10.DO rename layers as you go.

11.Save file as PSD.

12.Save file as TIFF.
