Project’s Assets

1. Visualization File(s) – inside the visualization folder

If you use Tableau, you need to submit the Tableau packaged workbook file(s) and any other file related to yourproject’s visualization. If you use tool other than Tableau:

- You need to submit the visualization file(s), dashboard file(s), solution file(s), source codes or any other filesrelevant to the chosen tool to showcase your project

- A short documentation (max 1 page) or text file on how to access or use the file

2. Dataset File(s) – inside the dataset folder

Please provide the dataset that you use to create the visualization. In addition to that, you should also create ashort documentation explaining where you got the file and any user name and login (if any) that you need to useto access the dataset

3. Video presentation

You are required to submit a link to a video which contains your presentation, you must only submit one link toa single video. You may use whatever tools you would like but you will only submit ONE URL that will have ONEcontiguous video. Your URL that you submit may not require any sign up to an account. It should simply openyour presentation and start playing it. The URL of your video presentation needs to be included in the term projectreport (see below).

Hint: If you want to make the video private, you can upload the video to YouTube but make sure that the videois unlisted or private.Your Video must be kept to 5 – 10 minutes, you will lose marks for being over or under the designated time. Thevideo should explain the following

- A brief overview of the dashboard, how it is structured and feature highlights (action, filter, etc)

- Items or features in your dashboard that were challenging to make or that you are proud of

- The reason why you choose the specific type of chart for each visualization in your dashboard

- The pre-attentive attributes you use in each visualization of your dashboard

- Explain how the course helped you to make certain components of your dashboard and where you had to

research yourself

4. Term Project Report (max 5 pages) – inside the documentation folder

You are required to submit a MS Word document containing the report for your visualization project. Thedocument should include the following

o Introduction, stating

? Your choice of the dataset and the reason why you are interested with the dataset
