You are required to write an individual assignment report based on the following criteria (see section 2). First, download the latest annual report of a (only ONE) bank. You can choose any bank listed in any stock market in the world. However, you should only choose a bank which provides sufficient information to address the following issues. Address the following issues in your report:
(a) Report and classify the loans in the bankâs balance sheet. For example, you can classify according to types of credit; that is security, borrower, tenure, sector of the economy, region, purpose and products. You should classify the loans according to available information in the annual report in terms of value and %. Based on these reported figures criticall evaluate issues related to the number.
(b) Report on the capital adequacy management of the bank. For example, focus on the tier 1, tier 2 and total bank capital (Basle) as reported in the annual report. Based on these reported figures critically assess issues related to the number. Â
(c) Report on the bankâs credit risks management and lending policies based on the available information provided in the annual report. Critically evaluate the bankâs credit risk management policy.
(d) Critically discuss the impact of 2020 global financial crisis and current ongoing health pandemic (Covid-19) on the bankâs loan portfolio; capital adequacy; profitability; liquidity and competitiveness. Identify key or unique information you can find in the bankâs balance sheet and credit risk exposure.

1. The report in MS Wordformat, which includes the coversheet, appendix, turn it in similiarity index report, references, and assignment assessment criteria (marking rubric). This report will be checked on Moodle Turnitin system, any report with a similarity rate higher than 25%will be considered as a plagiarised report and marked as zero for whole assignment. Only the content of the report is to be checked for plagiarism (excludes references, appendix etc).

2. The report only is limited to maximum 10 pages (no word limit). The report must be typed-written using Times New Roman, font size 12 with single or double spacing.

3. All work submitted must be original. Make references to the sources of materials used for your report. The report (without coversheet, references, and marking sheet) with a similarity score that exceeds 25%will be considered as a plagiarised report and marked as zero for the whole assignment.
