Assessment brief: Overview The purpose of this assignment is to consider your own leadership potential, and how your personality and skills can be used in a leadership role (at AUT or in your private life). You are also required to make critical reflection on your identified leadership style and leadership academic material. Your written assessment should address the following Part A ? You are required to provide a detailed discussion and critical reflection of who you are. This should include but is not limited to: your core beliefs and values, your strengths, weaknesses, skills, character, ethical and moral position, your culture, background, social development as a person, your personality, communication and conflict resolution styles. Make a connection to leadership perspectives as delivered through the lectures and tutorials ? Evaluate and be critical of how the detailed discussion of who you are influencing you as a leader and your choice of leadership style. You should clearly justify your approach to leadership, i.e. what type of leader do you think you are and why? How? Conduct an annotated bibliography of leadership theory and/or perspectives relevant to your leadership journey.
