ASSIGNMENT TASK In this this assignment you are required to analyse and critique the announcements and responses from two parties/groupsto:A.The Christchurch mosque attack; or B.The eruption of Whaakari White Island.It is fair to say that both events were unprecedented inNew Zealand in recent times and required the key people/organizations to communicate in a more sensitive and complex way than ever before.During both events the government ministers and departments were central to the communications process. There were also victims, their families, support groups, local authorities such as councils and the public. Gender, culture, ethnicity, nationality have all played a role in these events and these should be identified and discussed.
