Q2 – Identify some of the micro-operations to be found at the airport. For each one: (a) Identify the transforming and transformed resources (b) State which is/are the predominant transformed resource(s) and why? (c) Discuss the output of each micro-operation and say who you think its customers are Q3 – Summarise the job of the Operations Director. What are the main challenges s/he faces as the airport Operations Director? Q4 –(a) How would you describe what Richard Heard does each day? (b) How would you advise that he organises his tasks/duties/activities Q5 – Discuss the relationship between the day- to-day tasks and the long-term challenges, and explain how Richard manages to oversee both at the same time.
