PSY391 Individual Differences and Performance

The research assignment is based on the results on the IPIP inventory in the attached CSV file.The following areas will be addressed as part of this research assignment: • What do these scores suggest about your personality? Does this vary from your peers in the unit? • Based on findings from published literature in this domain (i.e., peer-reviewed journal articles), what do your scores predict about your academic performance? • How do your personality results and predictions regarding academic performance correspond to how you perceive yourself and your academic outcomes? Are there factors that may contribute to the validity of these results / predictions? Use JASP to derive the Z score of each domain Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, Neuroticism. Expand on the FACETS of each domain in describing my scores in comparison to my peers, the mean of each domain. Provide 1 histogram for each domain from the Five-Factor model by Maples, Guan, Carter & Miller (2014). In-text citations and references to be included in assignment.
