The main aim of this module is to encourage learners to develop a strong sense of self- awareness and of their own strengths and weaknesses as managers and colleagues. The module is focused primarily on the acquisition and enhancement of those skills that are crucial to successful management practice and to effective leadership. The module will be delivered across 14 x 3 hour core workshops through UWLFlex addressing professional and personal development including CPD and the CIPD profession map, study skills and self-management; research methods; and business skills including financial information and interviewing skills.

LO1 - Think critically and creatively, analysing, synthesising and presenting complex ideas and concepts, both orally and in writing.
