Introduction to Your SNHU MSPH Professional ePortfolio Presentation

Task:

This assignment will be your first step in compiling your SNHU MSPH Professional ePortfolio Presentation, which you will be working on throughout the program and complete during the capstone course. In this initial step, you will create an introduction to your eportfolio presentation, that will become your eportfolio presentation's welcome page. You will submit your introduction to your instructor, and after receiving feedback you will create your eportfolio presentation and add this introduction to your welcome page.
While writing this introduction, picture yourself at a job fair talking to a public health recruiter. Write a professional introduction discussing your qualifications and accomplishments. Some examples could be your professional focus, educational experience, or specific accomplishments working as a public health professional. If you do not have any experience yet in public health, include your aspirations and potential contributions that you could make in the field of public health. Identify at least one goal that you would like to achieve during the course of the program. You will also include a professional photograph as part of your introduction. You are encouraged to reference your resume to develop this introduction. Once your instructor has graded the assignment and provided feedback, you will transfer your introduction onto the welcome page of your eportfolio presentation, along with the professional photograph. For support with your ePortfolio, please refer to Creating a Healthcare Professional ePortfolio and Adding files to the ePortfolio and Presentation located in the ePortfolio Support section of the Start Here module. Moving forward, you will be able to access your eportfolio presentation in Brightspace to edit, add content, and upload samples of your work throughout your program.To complete this assignment, review the ePortfolio Guidelines and Rubric document. Be sure to save your work from this course to your ePortfolio within 60 days after the term ends, as you will no longer have access to this course beyond this point. This is a good time for you to save your work to your own personal storage device as well.

Once your instructor has graded the assignment and provided feedback, you should transfer your introduction onto the Welcome Page of your portfolio, along with the professional photograph. Moving forward, you will be able to access your portfolio in Brightspace to edit, add content, and upload samples of your work throughout your program.
