The minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Dr Blade Nzimande, called a Media briefing to updates the public about the readiness of the post school education and training as well at NSFAS funding process for academic year 2022. The Media Briefing took place at Ronnie Mamoepa Press Room, Tshedimoso House, 1035 Francis Baard Street, Hadfield on the Tuesday, 01 February 2022. During the briefing, the minister share slides that indicated the graphs to illustrate the financial changes and return plans for the students. The parents and students were left confused as the language used was unclear to them as to whether they are expected to go back to contact learning and funding plans for 2022. At the end of his address, the minister provided the journalist with an opportunity to ask questions.
