It sounds like you're ready to move forward with your research. If you're confident you can get a large number of people to respond to your questionnaires, it could be a good piece of research.
The next step is to expand your initial ideas into a full proposal now. This will allow you to think through necessary details before you start on the dissertation itself. Much of what you explore in the proposal can be used in the dissertation itself, e.g. the Introduction and the Literature Review. Of course, those chapters will be much longer in the dissertation, but it will probably cover the same information. Here is some advice from RKC on the general structure of the proposal:
Excluding references/bibliography and a timeline, the proposal should be around 3,000 words under the headings below with any sub-headings as appropriate. However, these categories are not set in stone and a level of flexibility is applicable depending on the nature and scope of the proposed research.
What is needed?
Introduction. This should set the context of the issue, and introduce the aims, objectives and most importantly, the research question
Literature Review. Ensure that you use the Harvard system in constructing the reference list and in-text referencing. This is your platform of understanding for the work to come, so it needs to be as thorough as possible.
Methodology. Why selected, how it will answer the question as asked, what access to people/organisations is required, and is access guaranteed. Note that you should ensure access to information and data required before you start. A brief discussion of the philosophy and application of the methodology would be helpful.
