Psychology Course Objectives and Report Topics

Learning Outcomes

1. Identify and discuss issues of diversity encountered so to develop a sense of social responsibility in personal and professional interactions

2. Identify the strengths and limitations of psychological research and discuss the role of theory in the advancement of science  

3. Outline the historical development of the major theoretical models of behavior, and explain how these models lead to different perspectives of human nature.

 

4. Describe the concepts and principles of selected areas of psychology, and demonstrate how these concepts and principles can be used to better deal with the normal aspects of daily living  

 

5. Display greater confidence in analyzing, interpreting, and evaluation alternative choices or course of action that are commonly encountered in daily life

 

Choose one of the following topics to write a report

1. Write a report about the history of Psychology, starting from its appearance, moving to the theories and studies about it, and finalizing the report with the latest perspectives and opinions, and findings. 

2. Write a report about the three learning theories showing the differences between them. To what extent has the latest technology inventions and discoveries effected the learning process, and its theories.
