1. The first consequence of withholding information would be result of lack of communication among team members. The second consequence would be lack of intention to share knowledge among the team member where knowledge should be considered as power in an organization and the third consequence would be the result of lack of trust among the team members, as they cannot tell each other what they know .
2. As a manager, I would like to approach by asking questions about how the employees are doing, how they feel about the work environment, productivity and workload. There should be honest and open communication culture in the team for getting effective feedback . I would like to avoid defensiveness or defensive reactions to my team members all the time. This would help in getting effective feedback. As a manager, I would like build rapport with the team members to get feedbacks by asking professional and personal well-being of the employees. However, the managers need to be honest and try to gain the trust of the employees to get effective feedback.
3. Different issues could arise in the workplace that may affect work output and quality. The issues include stress, emotional problems in personal life of employees, heavy workload, and poor leadership from top management .
