Due to Covid-19 lockdown, many people have switched to the increasing use of social media websites and other apps to spend their spare time. Many studies show that excessive social media use can cause unhappiness, dissatisfaction, in addition to increasing the risk of developing mental health issues such as anxiety and depression.
In this regard, you are asked to do some research on social media, and write a short report that answers the following points:
1. Name some common social media apps used by people around you and the reasons behind their use.
2. Describe the impacts of social media on people’s life (Positives and negatives)?
3. Talk about yourself and describe your experience with using social media: most used social media apps, average time spent on social media daily, alternatives things you do/can do instead of spending time on social media.
You need to start your report with proper introduction that introduces the report topic, aims, important definitions, etc.
At the end, you need to write a conclusion reflecting your own recommendations and advices.

b. You should use your own words.
c. Report writing specifications: Writing style should be formal, appropriate font type, size and format should be used, structure should include title and subtitles.
d. Word count should be between 300 and 400 words.
e. Use 2 references at least. References must be in the Harvard style of referencing and must be accompanied by proper in-text citations.
