2. Are consumer rights in healthcare in New Zealand different or the same internationally? Is this good or bad? What effects can they have on effectiveness of ensuring equal outcomes from health care provision in New Zealand?
3. Discuss any theoretical models or constructs from both disciplines of western bio-medical concept of health and the Chinese medicine philosophy of health to discuss the concept of health and wellbeing.
4. Are these similar or different? Is there any hope of integration? Are there any current journal articles that discuss these differences? What are they saying? What are your thoughts about the different international debates?
5. Examine and discuss any of these issues in relation to communication and socio-pragmatic dynamics of the therapeutic relationship and of cultural competence.
