Assessment Overview • You will now conduct your own location analysis of Wynyard Quarter and develop your own proposal for a signature building at the tank farm (e.g. a concert hall, a museum, Team New Zealand base, etc.) and conduct a modest non-financial feasibility study. Requirements • Use of some graphical materials (i.e. maps) is required for spatial analysis. Assessment Outline I. Introduction to the area (i.e. historical background of area, development need, goals for development), including clearly defined vision, mission and objectives. II. Stakeholder mapping for Wynyard Quarter III. An inventory of recreational and tourist facilities IV. Analysis of transportation characteristics in the neighbourhood (pedestrian, cycling, car, public transport) V. Introduction of your own development proposal (the suggested signature building) and analysis of building requirements (in terms of RMA). VI.
