NaturallyNZ is a clothing company operating out of Christchurch. They produce clothing made from natural fibres: mainly organically farmed New Zealand merino wool, as well as locally grown hemp fibre. They already have a Use of Organic Suppliers Policy and have now drafted a Sustainable Supplier Policy (Appendix A).
They would like to provide their customers with an ‘Aotearoa New Zealand farm to product’ source story to promote their merino product. They have approached the local iwi who own an organic merino station and are in the early stages of negotiating a joint venture supply agreement.
