Assessment Overview
This is the first of two assessments. For this assessment you will create an individual report that justifies the choice of leadership styles for specific situations. Your justification will also recognise cultural diversity and/or cultural contexts
Conditions of Assessment
This is an individual assessment you will complete in your learner-managed time, however, your teacher will provide opportunities during class time for clarification, guidance, collaborative working opportunities, and group discussion.
All work must be referenced appropriately using APA 6th edition. In order to pass this course you must achieve a cumulative grade of at least 50% across assessments one and two.

To complete this assessment you will need to select an organisation in New Zealand you are interested to work for after graduating from OPAIC. You will assess the leadership approach for two specific management levels (lower, middle or senior management levels) in your selected organisation and justify the choice of leadership style(s) for each specific management level. Within your justification you will also include recognition of cultural diversity and/or cultural contexts within the specific situations.
