You have been asked to write a discussion paper for an organisation’s human resource manager. The brief asks you to comment on the current state of learning and innovation in the organisation and identify how the organisation can use learning to become more responsive to change.

You will need to consider if and how that organisation:

• has measures in place that support both formal and informal learning opportunities for all employees. Say how this learning can support innovation.
