Testing Configuration: Equivalent Partitioning, Boundary Value Analysis, Decision Table, and State T
Answered

Task A: Equivalent Partitioning Test solution live platform

Introduction
There are number of black box and white box testing configuration which enables the testers to use from positive test design to negative test design to cover different possible tests.
There are five tasks in this assessment, each task presents a scenario or a problem that you need to design, clarify or solve.
Task A: Equivalent Partitioning Test solution live platform (15 Marks- at least 5 charts )
Create Equivalent partitioning test solution for following dialog boxes ( One table for each) .
To do so you need to draw Equivalent Partitioning Test Tables/Chart

Task B: Boundary Value analysis test solution

A computer program (restaurant management system) is being developed for a restaurant chain, this program should enable this food chain restaurant to have an attractive automatic voucher scheme for their customers.
-Restaurant management system automatically offers  $10 food voucher when a customer purchases over $100 value of food in certain period, if the customer spends between $200 and $300 within a month period they will receive $15 voucher and if customer spend between $300 and $400 they will receive $20 Voucher , when they spend between $400 and $500 They receive $25 Voucher and  when they spend $500 they will receive and automatic voucher for a full meal of their choice in the restaurant . If customer spends less than $100 they will be messaged that they are not eligible for voucher yet, if customer spends $100 and over, they  receive a message that they are eligible for $10 , $15, $20 , $25 voucher or a full meal accordingly.

-You as a tester are required to draw a  “boundary value analysis”  ( BVA) Line measure and (BVA) design table  ( both)  for all boundaries to show test numbers by indicating input, test, expected result and type for this program to make sure the program is behaving according to the requirements

Task C:  Decision table test configuration
A computer program is being designed to control a car parking system, car parking control scenario is being defined by system analysis for the developers and they are to implement the scenario in the designed application.
You as the Tester team have to design a “Test Decision Table” to make sure the scenario is being implemented and incorporated in the application correctly.
Draw a decision table for following Scenario of car parking system:
-When a car enters the parking space, a ticket will be issued by the system, and it records the entry time.
-If car exits the car park within 20 minutes, car parking system does not impose any charges and car will excite the car park free of charge.
-If car spends more than 20 minutes ( up to one hour) , system will charge $5
-If car spends more than an hour up to 2 hours, system will charge $10
-If car spends 2 hours to 3 hours system will charge $15
-If car spends 3 hours to 4 hours system will charge $20
-If car spends 4 hours to 5 hours system will charge $25
-If car spends over 5 hours up to full day system will charge $35

You as a Test team required to create a Test decision table to find the conditions needs to be tested for developed application.
Task D: Configuring State transition diagram to state table acceptance test
Following state transition diagram ( Figure #1) demonstrates an online shopping system and transition between states of Items to be purchased in this online system.
This diagram is examining positive testing for the events of the system:
D1) Explain what is this system diagram is describing. (Hint : At least six brief statement is required ,as  each arrow between states ( including Event & Action)  explains what happens in the system between states.)  (6 Marks)
D2)  Add the following states to the given state states diagram
