This may be a different person than the leader you choose for assignment 2. The organisations should be undergoing or have undergone major change (large impact on a wide group of individuals) within the last 7 years. This may be a restructuring, a merger, downsizing, redundancy, introduction of a new system / technology, eco-sustainable or others. Undertake the following tasks, providing clear, coherent, comprehensive and logical discussions using theories and concepts learned in class. Conflict and negotiation Analyse and evaluate the conflicts arising from the process of implementing change, noting types and sources of conflict. 4. Organisational culture Analyse and evaluate the implications of implementing change on the selected organisation’s culture in terms of its cultural elements and sub-culture 5. Organisational change a) Analyse and evaluate the causes and forms of employee resistance arising from the implementation of change. b) Analyse and evaluate the ethical issues that may arise from change implementation. 6. Diversity, EEO, Treaty of Waitangi Analyse and critically evaluate the application of the 3 principles of the Treaty of Waitangi (protection, partnership, participation) in facilitating change implementation and achieving individual, group and organisational alignment7. Recommend and explain 2 influence tactics that the selected leader can use to facilitate effective change implementation and achieve individual, group and organisational alignment. 8. Recommend and explain 2 conflict resolution approaches that the selected leader can use to facilitate effective change implementation and achieve individual, group and organisational alignment.
