An International Bank is proposing to construct a new Priority Bank at Tengah. It is a single storey building consisting of Bank teller counters, Bank office and Bank Vault.
The facility is surrounded by Office buildings, High Embankment Slope and Over Grown Vegetation & Open Field. The facility will operate from 0900-1500hrs and closed during Saturdays and Sundays. The facility is manned only during working hours. ï¿½ï¿½ï¿½
The layout for the building has been confirmed by client with the following physical measures and manpower deployment:
Welded Mesh Perimeter Fence.
One security guard during office hours.
Students are required to design the External and Internal Intrusion Detection System (Ext & Int IDS) for this new facility.
The Ext & Int IDS design should be based on the following threats identified:
Internal Threats ï¿½ Internal Theft, Arson, Vandalism, Sabotage, Theft of confidential information and Cyber.
External Threats ï¿½ Intrusion, Theft, Arson, Vandalism, Sabotage, Theft of confidential information and Cyber.
High Level Threat ï¿½ Vehicle Ramming into facility.
You are required to carry out a risk assessment based on the above mentioned threats.
The project assignment should include
A description of proposed Ext & Int IDS design based on Protection in Depth and surrounding environment.
Objective and functions of each proposed device.
Location of all proposed devices.
