Project Aim
The aim of this project is to study and propose suitable leadership models for Cabin crew management, that is applicable in the current aviation industry.
1: To identify the leadership models or traits that are present in cabin crew hierarchy
2: To analyse the effectiveness of leadership models in cabin crew
3: To propose recommendations and suggestions on how to improve current cabin crew leadership framework
The aim of this project is to study the different kinds of leadership models that is applicable in the current aviation industry. Airlines has long been seen as using an authoritative leadership model where the captain's supercedes that of the first officers regardless of situations or when chief cabin crew grooming and developing crew members rather than the Inflight managers. In today's age, the generation of employees are no longer followers of strong handed hierarchy models. This study will affirm the appropriate leadership models to be practiced in airlines.
