Instructions: The assignment for this module will be the identified case study entitled “Innovation Management: The Past, Present and Future of the Market,” an associated article. Your comments will contain the following subheadings, and each should be supported with at least two paragraphs: Case Study Input Outline Introduction: What is the case study? Who wrote it? From what perspective? Situation: Set the stage: What type of study is it? Why was it written? Where? When? Question: What is the author’s theme or hypothesis asking or explaining? Why does the author think it was important? What is the author’s bias? Does it contain appropriate details and content? Is it clearly made, or muddy in meaning? Hypothesis: What is your hypothesis as a result of reading and considering the content? State it here, clearly and concisely. NO waffling! Proof and Action: What supports your hypothesis—examples from the study or your research? Alternatives: What did you consider as differing from your hypothesis? Are there any weak points to your proposal? Where did you get them from? Conclusion: Close your points and verify your position (remember—you are convincing the reader that you are correct in your position taken and supporting content—this should close any hanging questions). What did you suggest, how, and so on? Did the author justify his or her hypothesis? References: A page for your citations and sources.
