Final Project Submission: This final project submission will include all previous project submissions, with a few additional elements, in the format of an AHU research project proposal. You will submit, via canvas in an APA-formatted paper, 8 to 10-pages long (page count does not include title page, references, or appendices). Your project submission MUST be organized in the following manner: Background Introduction (use the same introduction (making sure to incorporate my feedback – omit the research question and hypothesis). Significance of study (discuss the importance of your study in a paragraph or two – why is this study necessary? Why is this research needed? What is the value of your study?). Research question and hypothesis(es) (instead of including your research question and hypothesis at the end of your introduction, put them here – make sure you have incorporated any feedback you received). Literature review Introduction (In one paragraph, provide an overview of what you found in the literature). Background, definition, and operationalizations of your independent variable(s) (you already have this – incorporate the feedback you received). Background, definition, and operationalizations of your dependent variable(s) (you already have this – incorporate the feedback you received). The relationship between the independent and dependent variable(s) (you already have this – incorporate the feedback you received). Methodology Research design (what type of research are you conducting? What instruments will you use (survey, etc.)? Discuss how you will disseminate your survey or tool to collect information from participants. Data source and sample Study population (discuss your target population and define who they are. Be specific about who they are and why you chose them for this study – one paragraph will suffice). Inclusion and exclusion criteria (describe the characteristics that study participants must have in order to be included in your study, as well as what will disqualify them from being in your study). Data collection procedures (use the information in your data acquisition plan as well as your plan for confidentiality of data records and maintaining participant anonymity – incorporate any feedback you received. You can add a sentence or two on how you plan to collect your data, if necessary). Ethical Conduct of Research Ethical considerations of this study (use what you have already done, making sure to incorporate feedback) Expected contributions of this study to the field (discuss how your study will enhance this field by looking at the anticipated benefits, contributions, etc. Use what you already have about benefits/risks. Limitations of the study (discuss anything else this study could have included but did not. Also, anything that could have made it richer, but you were not able to do at this time. Discuss why you were not able to incorporate something else – limited resources, time, etc. One paragraph will do. Appendices (letters, informed consent, etc.). References Below is the feedback I received for project 2 Introduction Since you have a title page, no need to put the title in your paper. Please put it on the title page. Maybe instead of saying spring 2020 changed how nearly everyone... you should directly state what actually caused the change. First sentence of second paragraph, the words "has caused" can be omitted. Where is your source for the decrease in submissions by women? Where is your research question? How about phrasing the question: Has there been a considerable difference in how Covid-19 impact the productivity... Where is your hypothesis? Independent Variables You are missing a lot of sources to support what you are saying. Having one source at the end of this section is not enough. You made numerous statements that should be supported by the literature. Please revisit this for Project 4 when you have to submit these sections again. You may also want to limit the amount of independent variables. keep in mind that you should only discuss the variables in these sections. You may want to consider "family support" as your variable and work around that. Think seriously about this and decide what your independent variable should be. Dependent Variables Again, too many. Narrow you scope. Again, keep in mind that you must discuss your variables in depth so your reader will know about those variables. You may want to look at career progression since this is where you seem to be going. Again, only one source. Not enough. This is a literature review and necessitates more sources. Relationship This section is definitely better, but still need sources at the end of sentences in which you make statements that should be supported. I am not sure if you remember, in our zoom meeting, that I do not want you to submit much more that required in the number of pages. Remember, we are doing this in stages. This section is too long. You may want to look through this section as you reconsider your variables, and see what you may put in the variable sections for Project 4. You may or may not find enough here. This is a very interesting study and has a lot of promise. I really need you to narrow your variables so you can make the study more succinct. You will not need to submit all the sections again until Project 4. Take some time to go through this and see how you can make it work, taking into consideration my feedback. If you need to discuss this with me, please let me know and we can do a zoom call. You also need to identify your study and what you are contributing to this research. You cited many studies here, but exactly what is the gap you want to research. Please think about this. This project should have only been about 4 to 5 pages. Per APA guidelines, you do not need to have more spaces between your paragraphs. Please keep the document with the same spacing throughout. Please see your graded rubric as well as the rubric for Project Three attached. Please pay attention to my announcement for next time, as well as the requirements for each project. Thanks. Below is the feedback I received for project 3 Hello Vineetha, please see my feedback below: Vineetha, please refrain from putting the title of your paper at the top of the first page (page 2). It is already on the title page and is not required elsewhere. Thanks. Introduction You do not need the word "Hypothesis" just "Introduction." Take a look at the first line in your introduction - you misspelled the word "created" and missed a space between the words "situation" and "in." This problem is throughout your paper. Please be more careful in your next submission. Since you are looking at "considerable difference" in your research question, you may want to state the comparison. Is it men? You should probably include this in your question. Benefits/Risks Consider removing the word "the" before your referents in many places in your study. For example, you write things like "the employers" or "the women" instead, you can simply say "employers" or "women" without using the word "the." Confidentiality/Anonymity Say how anonymity will be maintained instead of just saying it will be. How will you protect files on computers? Ethical Considerations Capitalize the word "considerations." You use the words "would" and "should" often, consider revising. Be more descriptive about "how" ethical considerations will be assured. References Should be the last matter in your study. Please switch the order of your references and appendix sections. Appendix Please remove the wording at the top - not necessary. Begin with the word "Appendix." Kindly use the provided attachments. I am needing help with Assignment Project 4, the rubric and instructions are attached. I have also attached my past submissions Project 2 and 3 for reference so that you get an idea project four is a combination of project 2 and 3 plus additional requirements. Please pay close attention to the feedback my professor provided which is listed above so that way I would not loose points for those. Kindly give me a quote ASAP. Thank You very much.
