Impact of Political and Governmental Changes on the Supply Chain

Create a 6 page paper discussing how political and governmental changes can impact the supply chain and value stream of your organization or an organization you are familiar with. Also include insight in the three topics cited below from videos viewed earlier in this course. Consider the following when creating the paper: One of a Supply Chain executives most time consuming and daunting tasks is understanding the impact of constantly changing global governmental regulations on the supply chain. Economic trade barriers, tariffs, and political changes make global trade a challenging task. Skilled Supply Chain professionals attempt to forecast and predict how upcoming changes and events will impact their organization. Research and provide specific examples of recent geo-political events and/or changes and discuss how can actions from these events be mitigates. Additionally, the paper shall contain insight and content on the following three subjects from our video topics in relation to a globally based supply chain: Future currency aka "Crypto Currency" (consider the video from week 4 "Understanding Blockchain") Forecasting (consider the video from week 5 "Disney and Big Data") Environmental Sustainability (consider the video from week 6 "Who we are is What We Leave Behind")
