"Analysis, Interpretation, and Planning for the Impact of AI" In your Course Project, you’ll identify the issues and reflect on the risks that need to be addressed by the advances of AI. In Part I, you’ll identify the issues and the risks. Finally, in Part II, you’ll identify solutions to those issues and risks. As Kai-Fu Lee stated, “Never has the potential for human flourishing been higher – or the stakes for failure greater.” Our focus and the focus of your project is human flourishing. Wake up? Absolutely! And become informed as well. However, what we do with that information is, fundamentally, the purpose behind this class. We don’t want to descend into a hopeless sense of doom and gloom. Instead, with eyes wide open and a deeper awareness of what is coming, we want to think through and prepare the best potential outcome for our country, our families, our careers, and our communities. Your Organization is Depending on You Assume you’ve been assigned by your “organization” to prepare a presentation. You are going to analyze the impact of AI and, first of all, present your insights to your organization. The purpose is to help your organization “wake up” to what is happening, understand how AI is impacting the economy, society, and psychological well-being of our society, and identify the risks that need to be addressed. Part I of your Course Project is that summary. Create and Submit Part I of the Course Project As you begin the creation of your Course Project, Part I, you’re going to consolidate what you’ve studied thus far. After reviewing the materials from Modules 1 – 4, you may be feeling a little overwhelmed by the information you’ve encountered. While you recognize many of the positives coming with these advances in technology, you’ve also encountered a lot of negative projections and negative potentialities that AI is bringing with it. Our first goal in this class is to awaken and enlighten. We all need to wake up to what is coming so we can decide how best to manage our future Part I Outline : The outline below represents the categories of information the Instructors will want to see in your Course Project. A Microsoft Word document is provided for you to work in; within the document you respond to each of the assignment prompts listed below.

: What Level of Awareness Exists? (In this section, you’ll identify the level of awareness regarding AI that you’ve uncovered. This section will include your own self-analysis of your level of awareness, your interviews with others, as well as your observations from your interactions with your classmates through your Discussion Exercises. How aware or unaware (prepared or unprepared) are we to address the changes that are coming? What kind of obstacles does our level of awareness present?
