6. Develop a list of your 10 prioritized favorite transferable skills with a brief, 1-2 sentence, description of each skill as it applies to you.

8. Using the Amberton “Credit for Life Learning Portfolio/Handbook” write a 3-page paper about the use of portfolios. The narrative should include an explanation of a portfolio, the portfolio process, specific criteria, restrictions, and examples. The paper should include information from 1 journal article from EBSCO with appropriate apa documentation. In addition, include specific information regarding how you could use a portfolio to highlight your actual work and life experiences in a career search. (For assistance with EBSCO and apa format, refer to the Research Tutorials available on your eCourse portal.) To locate the Handbook, go to the Current Student link on the Amberton website. Then, go to Forms and Publications. Then, scroll down to Credit for Life Learning Portfolio Handbook.

9.  Interview someone in human resources about how portfolios and skill inventories are being used within the company. You may use your own company, if appropriate. You will have prepared questions to guide you through a 15-20 minute interview. Write a summary of this interview and include the specific questions you asked.
