Task:

You are presented the story of Uber and the success and issues that the company has experienced since its start-up. Uber has had to make many decisions some have been good and some not so good. You are to compose a paperthat discusses and explains the Uber case with a discussion of the history of the company and past decisions and the projected future of Uber under the direction of the new CEO Dara Khosrowshahi.

The new CEO will have to make significant decisions to shore-up the operations of Uber in order to be successful. You should make sure that you read all of the "Management in Action" sections in the text that discuss the Uber case. You can also do some outside research about Uber if it will help you with this test. You should also use the questions provided in each section of the Uber case to guide you in your discussion. The focus of your paper is to discuss the decision making process that Khosrowshahi will need to follow. You will also need to use the concepts covered in Chapters 1 and 2 related to making business decisions. Your paper should utilize the following concepts in your discussion and relate them to decision making.
