Hello Class,
My name is Adam Dietz man. I am from the southeast coast of Massachusetts. I was in the Army, working as a medic. I was based out of New York and Texas. I am now living in Florida. I went to Nova Southeastern University for my bachelor’s degree in applied professional studies in biological and physical sciences with a concentration in marine biology. I furthered my education with Marine Professional Training for a 50 ton United States Coast Guard Maritime Marine Coastal license. I work as a captain of a dive charter and as a dive master for scuba diving students at a university. I enjoy business and finance. I am looking forward to continuing my MBA courses at SNHU.
In business, scaling is creating a model to help the company expand with proper staffing, technology, and internal processes (Campbell 2019). For organizations, key challenges that they may face when scaling are possible resistance to change from employees. Employees could be in different, for the change, against the change, and extremely against change. The second key challenge is obtaining proper staffing. It is important to have both experienced and new staff mix together. Hiring is a long process and is time-consuming.
When scaling an organization, the roles of the middle managers and team leaders are to introduce and communicate the change. They must make sure the changes are implemented, and they must monitor the success or failure of the new processes. Middle managers and team leaders need to have specific qualities when supporting a growing organization. Leaders need to be caring but firm. They need to work with the people, but also hold the authority to make sure the transition goes smoothly.
Thank you,
Adam Dietz man

Hi my name is Dennett Brown and I live in Central Florida. I am married and have two beautiful girls. One in High School and my baby is now in 4th grade. I hold a Bachelor in Accounting and now pursuing my MBA. I completed my Bachelor 10 years ago and never really thought of going back to school due to how expensive schooling are and also because I had my small kids at the time, it just seems like a lot. Anyways I am glad I made the step. It has been a challenge so far but I am hanging in there. My life motto is, “Nothing beats a trial but a failure” and therefore failure is not thing I strive for.
I currently work for a large commercial landscape company in their accounting department as an Account Receivable Specialist. I do like working
for my company because the atmosphere and culture is family-oriented and management does show concerns and care for each employee’s personal health and wellbeing. My department is not big but I still have hopes after graduation that a position will open that I can apply for and grow with the company.
