Assessment instructions

Assessment three builds on your work in the themed discussion boards (Assessment 2). • For this assessment, you will be evaluating FOUR recent journal articles related to your clinical question (same question from discussion board 2). You will do this by summarising and evaluating the articles in an annotated bibliography. I have attached a file of last assignment (2).

1. Introduction/background

2. Annotated bibliography (4 x relevant and current research articles)

3. literature evaluation (based on the four articles) you need to evaluate and discuss them in more details.

4. Conclusion In your annotated bibliography

You will need to address the following elements in your annotated bibliography 

a. Was the article qualitative or quantitative? Only use the article that is quantitative in nature because my last discussion board was analysed quantitatively. It will be clearer and easier to understand. Lecturers will understand it clearly What was the aim of the research?

b. How was the study conducted? participants, study venue, data collection, process, etc.

c. What were the results of the study AND do they answer the study question/aim?

d. What are the strengths and limitations of the study?

e. Overall statement on applicability of research to clinical practice e.g Because of the significant limitations of this study, more research is required through large randomised controlled trials to strengthen the author's result.
