This improvement plan generally helps in minimizing cost of the project, identifying and reducing errors and defects, etc. Organization which is to be considered for this report is McDonald which has started its business operations from the year 1940 and is one of the largest chain of fast food restaurant throughout the world. It will concentrate on reviewing the supply chain processes and identifying a process which can be improved.

The primary problem which has been identified in the McDonald is that the quality of food is becoming very poor day by day. Customers are loosing trust on the brand and shifting to another competitive brands. This problem has been identified by organizing food audit by the government of the country where in several countries it has been found that McDonald uses same oil for 3-4 weeks in which food is fried. Such oil is very dangerous and harmful for the health as it can cause serious problems like cancer, heart attack, increasing body cholesterol, etc.

The major tool which has been used in order to identify the problems faced by the McDonald is six sigma. The six sigma is the data driven method which is used by the business organizations where errors are detected at each and every step of the process and is completely removed in order to enhance the quality and efficiency (Goldratt and Cox, 2016). This concept helps in maximization of supply chain processes and also achieves the satisfaction of customers. Furthermore, this directly impacts the level of profitability and cost to the company by minimizing the wastage and errors. The qualitative tool which has been used is by organizing Questionnaire on the social networking sites like Face book, the reviews of various customers has been taken into account and this problem has been identified through social network only that customers are not satisfied with the food quality of the McDonald and this needs to be improved by using certain quality control methods like six sigma.

Stakeholders are the individuals who are directly or indirectly connected with the working of the organization. They are the employees, customers, suppliers, etc. without whom the company cannot operate or run smoothly and cannot attain the desired set of goals and objectives. For evaluating the stakeholder, the power grid is created that devise power and interest of each stakeholders. With the help of this matrix, the organization can determine that which group of stakeholders are able to manage closely and properly and on which the less effort is needed. The primary motive of this is to identify the interest of stakeholders and conflicting interest, identifies relationship between stakeholders and influences the level of participation which is required by each group of stakeholders (Evans and Lindsay, 2014).
