This is how the topic 2 assignment will take shape: It is in three sections Internal existing data Internal new data External data For the first section, you can gather quantitative and qualitative data that already exists in your organization.
It might be your last satisfaction poll, or it might be results from an employee suggestion box, depending upon what your problem to solve is.
This data validates that there is a problem.
Talking to people who have been around, or exit interviews might give you the qualitative work needed.
The second section is data on previous fixes attempted internally. There are many ways this can be done, but this is most easily accomplished by conductions a survey of your own creation.
By asking closed ended questions, you’ll have the necessary quantitative data you need.
By asking open ended questions, you’ll be able to gather qualitative data. I’d suggest limiting your survey group to around five people.
The purpose is to avoid trying a solution already attempted in your organization.
If you decide to use your work in this class for your employer, you can take time to bolster your survey later. The third portion is external existing data (Literature review).
Go online and look for other places that have done work on your topic.
This will be information on how other organizations have dealt with similar issues and how successful they were.
For full points, each section needs a graph or chart that you’ll create within Excel.
I suggest a simple histograph or pie chart with a small caption underneath to satisfy the quantitative portion of each section, and then a small paragraph to satisfy the qualitative portion of each section.
At the very least, I need to see both methodologies applied somewhere in the paper.

Please copy and paste your charts into the template as well.
