Some business leaders find consistent success in a variety of roles, and students can learn from their positive example. These individual leaders can teach the characteristics, skills and knowledge that lead an organisation to success in the current era of dynamic, and potentially disruptive, change.

Other leaders may have stumbled in the past or have had their records tarnished by personal and ethical flaws.These leaders provide students with nuanced examples of the power of some leadership characteristics and the perils of others.

The Assignment for this module requires you to select and research a specific, contemporary business leader.Then you must evaluate his or her leadership characteristics that have led to success, or, in some cases, to failure.

To complete this Assignment, you must apply the topics, ideas and concepts from Modules 1, 2 and 3 to the individual business leader you have selected. To prepare, select a contemporary leader, research his or her accomplishments (as well as failures) and review the course resources and Discussion content to date.
