The presentation “Caring for the Caregiver” is a compilation of ways to care for you, the giver of care. Yes, nurses need to assess and plan for their patients’ spiritual needs, but you deserve that same careful and intentional planning for your own life as well. Now is the time to set good personal habits for balancing your home and work life, nurturing your spiritual needs, remaining true to your academic path, and avoiding the dangerous burnout that is inherent to nursing.
