Mental health has a critical impact on oneâs overall well-being. It is vital that practitioners and other health professionals are prepared to aid older generations in maintaining a strong mental wellness. This study focuses on the mental health of older adults and their past and current experiences with mental illness and depression. The goals of this study are to discover patterns in the intervieweesâ answers and use them to promote new approaches to the older generationsâ mental and general health. This study also addresses societyâs shortcomings when it comes to these things in the community. Therefore, the overall purpose of this study is to examine the patterns of mental health in older adults; comparing their experiences from when they were younger to their experiences now, and exploring other aspects of their mental health in society.

The Methods section will describe how you are collecting your data and how you will analyze your data. For all groups, you will be using a thematic analysis guided by an inductive grounded theory approach. You will also want to include how many total interviews were collected. Briefly describe your interview guide by describing the overarching topics of your question and the format, which is a using a semi-structured interview guide. The methods section should also be between 3-4 sentences or between 75-100 words.
