The final project for this course requires the student to submit a 5-7 page research paper. The topic will be based in relation to a fire prevention topic/strategy. Students are required to use at least five (5) credible sources and must correctly document those sources. The writing style that the student chooses is at their discretion. The three (3) acceptable styles for this class are, Modern Language Association (MLA) style, American Psychological Association (APA) style and American Political Science Association (APSA) style. There will be links and information related to each style within the course.
You may do a paper on a topic of your choice that involves fire prevention strategies. You may select from any of the topics outlined and discussed in your textbook (Crawford). Or a topic approved by the instructor The paper should be at least five (5) pages but not more than seven (7) pages, excluding references pages, using appropriate documentation/citation (APA/MLA/APSA) of appropriate resources.
You will be graded on all aspects of this assignment, including substance and grammar Points for excessive grammatical mistakes will be deducted. Any of the accepted writing styles APA, APSA, and MLA format is acceptable.
1. Your final paper will include an appropriately formatted title page in the writing style you select

3. Your final paper must be submitted through the Turnitin.com link that I will create in Blackboard to check for appropriate use of resources and citations.
