Module Learning Outcomes
Overview:
This course explores the role of national and regional environments in Asian business. Students taking the course will learn about macro-characteristics such as factor endowments, institutions, politics, and culture that affect country- and firm-level economic outcomes in Asia. The ability to identify an author’s argument and interpret evidence supporting the argument will be a major element of the course.
You are required to write an evaluative essay using established models and theories based only one of the topics as shown below.

You are allowed to choose what specific topic or area of the relationship you wish to speak about
It is advised to work in the following stages:
First Stage
Students will have a writing plan. In the writing plan, please describe the scope of your topic and indicate what you expect to write about. You do not need to provide any citations for this stage. The areas can relate to the following
Second Stage
Students will compile a bibliography containing at least 30 academic journal articles and/or books which relate to the topic.
Once this is complete the third stage would be the final writing stage (85%)

You are required to submit a written report of 4,000 words
The report should be type written, 1.5 line-spaced, using 12-point size font, and should not exceed 25 pages (excluding cover page, tables, figures, appendices, references, and endnotes).
The report should contain the following:
