CIC419 Kaitiakitanga

Drawing on the lecture presentations and using the case studies, literature and information provided and discussed in class, this assignments seeks to extend your knowledge and understanding from a range of sources and commentators familiar with the contexts in which Kaitiakitanga operates. 

 

It is expected that you will  critique a range of definitions and conceptual frameworks from a range of sources in which the term "Kaitiakitanga" and its principles are determined and applied. Your analysis should include the conceptual frameworks and applications that Kaitiakitanga operates within  in terms of its  traditional and contemporary forms. This is worth 30% of your total mark

Attached in seperate email is reading for Assignment 1. You can pretty much choose any of the readings and most of them inter relate to each so they assignments will cross over each other and say the same thing. So if you are able to find things in the readings that help to extend my knowledge and understanding from at least 5 of the sources and commentators familiar with the contexts in which Kaitiakitanga operates than that is a real good stance. I just need it to be critiqued into the maximum of 3000 words but if you hit on the nail just over 2700 words im sure it will be ok so i will send the readings in the email straight after this email to you. They are the reading for all 3 assignments.
